Constantin Sileki, age 53, passed away at 10:07AM on Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born on February 28, 1968 to Albert Sileki and Veronique in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of the Congo. He grew up in a large family surrounded by many brothers and sisters. Constantin attended elementary, secondary and high school in Kisangani. For all who knew him, Constantin was a clean and meticulous person, who likes order. He was an upright, principled guy. He loved playIng soccer and he was good at it. He was the person you would go to if you wanted your car detailed by hand. He was ready to lend a helping hand where he went. He was "uncle" to everyone in the community. He is preceded by his father, his mother, some brothers and sisters. He survived by his brothers and sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts, and many nephews and nieces. Constantin will be remembered as a bright, shining light in the Congolese community he served and a "real friend" to his friends. Family, friends and others whose lives Constantin touched are invited at Romero Chapel of Repose 15150 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, CO 80014 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM MST on Thursday September 16, 2021 to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. Funeral services will be held on Friday September 17, 2021 from 9:00AM - 12:00PM at Messie Ministry International, 601 Salida Way, Aurora, CO 80011.
