Cynthia Jane Horvath of Lakeland, FL passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018. She was 80. A native of South Bend, IN, born October 7, 1937 to David and Dorothy Parent Stein, Cynthia moved here 16 years ago from South Bend. She retired from Northern Indiana Public Service Company after 40 years of service. Cynthia was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Winter Haven, FL, and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cynthia was preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Marie Dansby, and her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Alex A. Horvath of Lakeland, FL, Sons Alex Horvath Jr. (Nicky) of S. Bend, IN, Drew Horvath (Shelly) of Indianapolis, IN; her daughter: Sharron Temple (Mark) of N. Liberty, IN; her brother Craig Stein of Lakeville, IN; 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven. Condolences to the family can be sent to: www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
