A memorial service for Cyril E. Smith, 80, of Columbia will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 4440 Fort Jackson Blvd, Columbia, SC 29209 with inurnment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. On-line condolences may be sent to www.greenlawn-columbia.com. The family has entrusted Greenlawn Funeral Home with the arrangements. Mr. Smith departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. He was born in Wilton, England to the late William Smith and Winifred E. Moody Smith. Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, June Margaret Pallant Smith; a daughter, Jane Alison Mann and her husband Keith Mann; five grandchildren, Hope Mann, Jonathan Mann, Mark Mann, Stephen Mann, and Jessica Mann; two great-grandchildren, Justin and James Mann; his two sisters, Pam Mitchell and Thelma Poole; a brother, Bill Smith; a host of other loving relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
