Dale Ronald Hunter, 67, of Culver died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in his home. He was born December 17, 1940 in Big Fork to Robert and Pearl Hunter. Dale grew up in Culver and graduated from Alborn High School in 1957. He married Alice Huling on November 2, 1963 in Reno, NV. Dale worked for General Mills in Duluth, was a cook at Lutsen, and was a special education bus driver for a few years. In addition to Minnesota, the family made their home in Michigan, Indiana, and California. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Dale was an avid Vikings Fan. Dale was preceded in death by his son, Joel; sister, Dolly Pedersen; and brothers, Ivan and Tex. Dale was greatly loved and will be sadly missed by his wife, Alice; daughter, Renee (Jack) Kinley of Moose Lake; sons, Jeff (Lori) of Cloquet, Jamie (Tara) and John both of Culver; brother, Wesley (Beverly) of Cloquet; sisters, Lilly DeLuca of FL, Lila Clemens of Saginaw, Darlene Welsh of WI, Dusty Andreoni of CA, Donna (Robert) First of FL; eight grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
