Damon Clark Schoonover passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife and friends at his side. He was born in the Los Angeles area and grew up in Whitesboro, Texas. Damon moved to Denver, Colorado for job opportunities in 2001. He married Tamara Lee Lehman on September 17, 2005 in Lakewood, Colorado. He was an avid gamer, member of TRMN and Pathfinders Society. Damon was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel (Greene) Dobson; and step father, Earl Dobson. He is survived by his wife, Tamara; brothers, Stephen (Nicky) Dobson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Dwight (Maurine) Dobson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; sisters, Beverly (Dobson) Humphreys of Tyler, Texas, and Gloria (Dobson) McCloud of Tulsa, Oklahoma; maternal aunt, Nola (Greene) Hale of Whitesboro, Texas; and numerous cousins. A Celebration of Life will be planned in the future.
