SECTION, ALABAMA - Danford "Dannie" Bamforth, 81, died February 12, 2013 in Section, Alabama due to respiratory failure. She was born June 22, 19131 in Pike County, Kentucky.. She moved to Haines City in 1960 and worked as the Office Manager for Polk County Fertilizer until her retirement. She was known for her sincere love of her home, family and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Lynn Sine and is survived by her son Douglas Bamforth; daughter Elizabeth Bamforth; brother Eddie (Martha Lynn) Hunt; grandchildren Sean Day, J Paul (Jennifer) Spoor, Leanne (Nakista Mitchell) Taylor, and Matthew (Samantha) Taylor; and 5 great grandchildren. Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 2-3 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City with Services to follow at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers family asks for donations to ABC Hospice, P.O. Box 1486, Rainesville, AL 35986.
