Daniel Z. Martinez, 75 of Denver It is with deep sorrow that the Martinez family announce the passing of their beloved Father Daniel Z. Martinez on April 25, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Daniel was born in Lulin, Texas on January 3, 1942 to his parents Mateo R. Martinez and Angelita Z. Martinez. Daniel's profession was being a cook for more than 5 years, and a Houseman for the Holiday Inn for over 13 years. He enjoyed fixing cars, fishing and bike riding. Daniel is preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Ortiz; parents Mateo Ramirez Martinez & Angelita Zapata. To continue to cherish his memory are his sons Daniel Jr.(Inez) Martinez and Eddie (Joyce) Ortiz, Daughter Diane (Sammy) Martinez; Grandchildren, Daniel (Desiree), Nadine (Tony), Nathan (Melaine), Justine (Eddie), Jonathan, Maggie (Adrian), Max, Ronni, Eric, Aleena and Fabian; Great Grandchildren, Isaiah, Daniel, Tony, Josiah, Bobby, Jose, Adrian, Roman, Donavan, Nicholas, Rogelio, Jordan, Marcus, Gabriel, Renzo, Santi, Christian, Isabela, Serenity, Natalee and Lyric; and numerous other grandchildren; Brothers, Pete Martinez, Mateo Martinez, Steve Martinez, Frank Martinez, Gilbert Martinez, Mingo Martinez, Pablo Martinez; Sisters, Rosa Alvarado, Victoria Alvarado, Frances Jimenez, Maria Olivarez, Angelita Garcia and Esther Martinez; Aunts & Uncles, Juan Martinez, Virginia Torres, Hacinta Torres, Sabas Martinez, Isidro Martinez and Salvador Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. There will be Visitation and Viewing on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 5;00pm to 6:30pm, with the Prayer of the Rosary to follow at 6:30pm. Funeral Service, Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 10:00am; all services will be at Romero Funeral Chapel, 4750 Tejon Street, Denver, Colorado. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
