Daniel Ulibarri Sr.

Daniel Ulibarri Sr. entered into eternal life with the Lord on September 19, 2019. He was born in Sena, New Mexico to Amado Ulibarri and Lucy Chavez, on April 16, 1957. He is preceded in death by his God Father Tony Sena; his mother Lucy Chavez; and cousin Patricio Gallegos. He is survived by his children Daniel Ulibarri Jr., Angelica Marie Ulibarri, Alexander Steven Ulibarri, and Elizabeth Jo (Vincent) Quintana; siblings are Stella Quintana, Steve Ulibarri, Christine Lucero, Ernie Ulibarri, Rachael Martinez, Paul Chavez, and Angela Rodriguez; grandchildren are Ayla Quintana, Victoria Quintana, Chloe Mascarenas, and Angelo Joseph Mascarenas. Daniel was a bright and kindhearted man with the utmost sense of humor. He was most recently known by many as "The Love Doctor" at KUHS Denver as a DJ for the past 3 1/2 years. He worked for the Federal Reserve as a supervisor for 14 years and 8 years as an Agent for American Family Insurance. He completely loved being a DJ, enjoyed music of many genres, was a professional pool player, great basketball player, and a boxer. He attended Brighton Senior High School and attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is a huge CU Buffs fan and hardcore Denver Broncos fan. His family described him as very loving, generous, humorous, benevolent, talented, optimistic, and dedicated family man. Daniel was very welcoming to anyone in his presence and would instantly give the shirt off his back to anyone who would ask of him. The humor he brought with his presence made people cherish him and instantly feel appreciated. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Everyone is encouraged to wear Bronco/CU Buffs attire on Wednesday night for the Viewing/Celebration of Life.
