Danny Joe Farleigh, Sr., 63, of Wrenshall died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth. He was born February 7, 1941in Logan, West Virginia, the son of William and Eloise (Dillo) Farleigh. Danny was raised in West Virginia and Ohio and moved to the area in 1979. He was a self employed carpenter. Danny enjoyed playing horseshoes, bowling, fishing and rabbit hunting. Danny was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dick Farleigh on October 17, 2002. Danny is survived by his wife, Sandy, of Wrenshall; four sons, William (LaLoni Massey) of Cloquet, Danny Jr. (Corrina), Roger (Donna) and Ashley (Linda) all of Wrenshall; a daughter, Karen Allen (David Wolfe) of Circleville, OH; 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; seven brothers, Abe (MaryJo) and Paul (Jean) both of Cloquet, Tom (Beatrice), Fred (Mary), Mike (Ruth), Ron (Esther) and Russell (Mary) all of Ohio; five sisters, Helen Farleigh (Louis Lang) of Cloquet, Jeanette (Joel) Carlson of Sawyer, Janice Saltz and Glenna (Gene) Ward, both of Ohio and Sandy (Frank) Workman of West Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Visitation will be Monday, April 12, 2004 from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service in Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
