David Dodds, of Haines City, FL passed away on September 10, 2024. He was 81 years old. Mr. Dodds was born on February 4, 1943 in Carthage, NY to Ralph Murray and Susan Kelly Dodds. David married his wife Ann Gallagher Dodds on May 16, 1964. They lived in Ogdensburg, NY for 43 years, then moved to Haines City in 2007, where they lived together until Ann passed away on October 30, 2013. 

David was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Susan, as well as his wife of 49 ½ years Ann. He is survived by his son, Stephen and his girlfriend Dawn Bradley of Haines City, FL, his Grandson Jordan Dodds, of Haines City, FL, his Great-Granddaughter Ariya Dodds, of Haines City, FL, his Brother Donald Dodds and Sister-in Law Virginia Dodds, of Haines City, FL and Ogdensburg, NY, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, that live all over the country. 

David and his brother Don, co-owned Dodds’ Dairy in Ogdensburg, NY, for several years. They delivered milk and dairy products to homes and schools in the area. People in the area raved about the service they received, and to this day miss the service they received from the Brothers! David also worked at the St. Lawrence ARC in Ogdensburg, NY for many years as well.  

Although David was a quiet person or not a conversation starter, those who knew him, knew he had a big and caring heart!  

David was an avid bowler and golfer, being the secretary/treasurer of his bowling leagues for 50 years in Norwood, NY and Potsdam, NY. He met his wife, Ann in Potsdam, NY. He also was a big Miami Dolphins Football Fan, NY Yankee Baseball Fan, and a Notre Dame College Football Fan. 

There will be a memorial and celebration of life, for David on October 20, 2024 at Ridge Manor Mobile Home Park, at the Clubhouse at 1:30pm.
