Neilson, David- 59 of Aurburndale, Florida passed away peacefully February 3, 2018. Proceeded in death by beloved father Harry E. Neilson, and brother Harry L. Neilson. Followed in death two days later by loving mother Hortense W. Neilson. Survived by daughters Robin Klotzbier of Venice, Florida, Shelly Neilson of Whaneta, Florida, and Dawn Whidden of Madison, Tennessee; brother James E. Neilson of Eustis, Florida, sister Karen Keel of Winter Haven, Florida, and 5 grandchildren Katherine, Chelsea, Cynthia, Emily, and Xander. David was born March 7, 1958 in Haines City, Florida. His life long career as a semi-truck driver allowed him to view many beautiful sights up and down the busy highways of the United States. He also enjoyed being a DJ, hosting karaoke nights at local events and socializing with the patrons and making friends while having a great time. David loved his family and enjoyed making people smile and laugh at family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Oak Ridge Funeral Home in Haines City, Florida on February 10,2019. Viewing will 10:00 am to 11:00 am and service will be followed directly after.
