David Gary Pennington
December 18th, 1983 - April 2nd, 2024
David Gary Pennington, 40, of Port Wentworth, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in his home. David, born in Somerville, New Jersey, lived in Port Wentworth for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Lee Pennington and his father-in-law, Mario Francis “Buddy” Stefanski. He was employed with Gulfstream and had a huge passion for what he did. He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile and how he made everyone laugh and enjoy life when they were with him. If you knew David, you loved him. He loved his dogs, the Florida Gators, fishing and golfing. Survivors include his wife, Ashley Marie Pennington; step-son, Devin Blake Stefanski (fiancé Brianna King); father, George Gary Pennington III; siblings, Brittnie Sanders (Travis), Lindsay Milton (Chris), and Kristie Amesbury (William); nephews and nieces, Walker Sanders, Taylor Sanders, Maysen Milton, and Bryce Milton; mother-in-law, Theresa Lorena Stefanski; sister-in-law, Misty Futch (Chris); nephews, Christopher Dru Futch and Carter Reid Futch. Family and friends are invited for a Gathering from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Hiers Baxley Funeral Services 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida 34470.
