Age 58, of St. Paul. Devoted father and husband. Died unexpectedly on December 29, 2016. Survived by wife, Mary Catherine (Eiden); sons, Paul and Nicholas; brothers, Richard Reiland, Jr. and Robert Reiland; sister, Michelle (Don) Howard; also nieces and nephews. David was a lifetime resident of Saint Paul who attended St. Marks and St. Columba Grade Schools. He graduated from Cretin High School in 1977 and later attended Metro State University for Accounting. He was the owner of Metro Heating and Cooling; a leading HVAC company in the Twin Cities, established in 2009. He was a longtime Holy Spirit parishioner, Boy Scout Leader and avid fisherman who loved the sun, ocean and traveling. He enjoyed Downtown St. Paul, especially, Pazzaluna, Candyland and Mancini’s for a good steak. His way of thinking was, “Risk something or forever sit with your dreams”. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7 at the CHURCH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, 515 S. Albert Street, St. Paul. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 5-8 PM Friday and at the church 1 hour prior to Mass.
