Debbie Taylor Farr, age 71, peacefully passed in her home surrounded by her family on June 13, 2022 of declining health over the past few years. She was born February 16, 1951 in American Fork, Utah to Jack Alfred and Connie Lee Bennett Taylor. Debbie spent most of her childhood in Utah, graduating from Pleasant Grove High School in 1969. She was crowned Strawberry Days Queen in 1971 while attending BYU. Debbie was married and sealed to Michael Lawrence Farr of Pleasant Grove, Utah in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 17, 1971. They moved to Eugene Oregon in 1974 where they raised their family. She completed her teaching degree, graduating with honors, from the University of Oregon. Debbie was a beloved teacher at Ridgeview Elementary for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Mike; three children, Michael Benjamin (Cybil) of Plainview, TX, Katie Told (Matt) of Grangeville, ID, Lizzie Walker (Ivan) of Eugene, OR, 11 grandchildren, and siblings Jack Taylor, Keely Giles and Adam Taylor. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and little sister Lisa. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 550 N Danebo Ave in Eugene, OR. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park at 2pm. Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother will be remembered for her love of education, children’s books, quilting and shopping. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she spent hours talking to them, reading to them and loved hearing about every detail of their lives. She spent endless hours selecting the perfect gift for each family member. She served faithfully in many callings for the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Debbie will be remembered for the countless hours she spent serving her friends and family.
