Debbie Macaluso October 13, 1956 ~ February 5, 2020 God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around her and whispered. "Come with me." Debbie was born on October 13, 1956 in Rapid City, South Dakota, to her parents John Edward Hackney and Sondra Marie (Comstock) Hackney. She was the first born of 3 children to this union. She attended Adams City High School in Commerce City, COlorado. She was a Postal Clerk for the United States Post Office for over 14 years. Debbie loved music of all types and shopping. She was also very much into history. Debbie loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed taking pictures. She loved spoiling her kids and grandkids at Christmas time. It was her favorite holiday and she always made it special and memorable for her family. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Sondra M. Hackney; Brother John E. (Buddy) Hackney, Jr. Those to cherish her memory is her loving family. Her husband Donald Macaluso of 43 years of marriage. Son & Daughter-in-law, Zach & America Macalusa; Daughter & Son-in-law, April & Jose Correa; Grandchildren Devon, Taina, Anthony, Jacob, Mia and Faith; and 1 Great-Grand Daughter Layla. Visitation, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10:00am; with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am at Romero Funeral Home ~ Chapel of Repose, 1515 E. Iliff Avenue, Aurora, Colorado.
