Dennis "Big D" Harris

Dennis “Big D” Harris of Lake Hamilton, Florida passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was 58 years old. He was born on Thursday, August 27, 1964, in Belle Glade, Florida to Cecil and Katherine Watson Harris and moved with his family to Lake Hamilton as a young child. Dennis was a member and Trustee of the First Baptist Church of Dundee, Florida and loved to go to church. He was a member of the I.U.O.E Local #320 and he enjoyed watching television, but loved to fish, claiming to be the best fisherman ever. Dennis is predeceased by his parents, Cecil and Katherine and sister, Brenda Kay Smith. He is survived by his wife, of 6 years, Anita Harris; children, Dalton Harris and his wife, Miranda of Lake Wales, Florida, Austin Harris of Lake Wales, Florida, Matthew Dinger and his wife, Tanya of Home, Pennsylvania, Nathaniel Dinger of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Rita Donahue of Richland, Pennsylvania; brother James Harris and his wife, Sue of Winter Haven, Florida and nephew, Jimmy Harris of Lakeland, Florida as well as a few grandchildren. A visitation will be on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 10:00 am until the funeral at 11:00 am at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, Florida.
