Dennis "Seaside Denny" Clay Watts
August 19th, 1945 - July 15th, 2013
Seaside - Dennis died peacefully at his home on Monday at the age of 67. He was born in Emporia, Kansas August 19, 1945. In 1979 Denny started his own glass shop in Seaside, Denny's Glass, which has been in business for over 35 years. Denny is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Esther Watts and his older brother, Lynn. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Susan, their daughter Tabatha, his two sons Richard(Ann) and Mike, his brother, Jeff(Nancy), a grandson Jonathon and tow nephews, Jason and Steve. Denny was an avid San Francisco 49'er and San Francisco Giants fan. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and his sense of humor. Denny will be greatly missed by his family and every life he ever touched. "When it gets to tough for everybody else, it's just right for me" - Seaside Denny Donations may be made in Denny's memory to: SPCA of Monterey, P.O. Box 3058, Monterey, CA 93942. At his request, no services will be held. Arrangements by Mission Memorial Park and Seaside Funeral Home, 1915 Ord Grove Ave.

Mission Memorial Park
For almost 100 years, our cemetery has served the residents of the Monterey Bay Area. Mission Memorial Park opened in 1934 as Mission Memorial Cemetery and for many years was run by the City of Monterey. In 1988, Monterey Peninsula Mortuary opened on the grounds of our beautiful Seaside location. In 2007 we closed our Chapel of Seaside at our Noche Buena location and merged the two to become Mission Mortuary & Memorial Park....
