All Veterans Funeral & Cremation - Wheat Ridge
Deryl Frary
Born in Denver, adopted by Arthur and Phyllis Frary, Deryl grew up in Colorado and Kansas, graduating from Haviland ( Kansas) High School. He served in the Navy and Naval Reserves from 1975 to 1981. He lived most of his adult life in Denver, close to the mountains he loved, snowboarding, skiing, bicycling, and hiking. His paid jobs during his life were fine jewelry salesman, bicycle mechanic, and materials handler, but the job he was proudest of was stay-at-home dad. His last and favorite paid job was dogswaddler, caring for dogs in his home. Deryl is survived by his wife Janice, daughters Dominique and Vanessa, sister Sherilyn Smith and her children, mother Phyllis, Jasmine who he rescued from Denver Dumb Friends League, and Lacey, his grand-dogger. His father preceded him in death. At Deryl’s request, no service will be held. Memorials may be made in Deryl’s memory to veterans’ mental health programs at www.volunteer.va.gov or a local animal shelter.
