Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Venice
Desire Margaret-Ann Brackin
October 29th, 2021
Desire' was born on April 2, 1970 in New York. She moved to Florida as a small child and was raised in Venice. She is preceded in death by her mother, Denise Rivera, and her father, John Newkirk. She is survived by her son, Wesley Brackin and her daughter, Elisabeth Perrault as well as her granddaughters Jenna and Anastasia. She is also survived by the friends who became her family and loved her so much. Desire' was an amazing woman with the strength to move mountains and the capacity to love without judgement. She overcame more in her short 51 years on this earth than many could do in two lifetimes. She loved her children and her grandchildren with a fierceness. She had a ready smile and loved to laugh. Her favorite place to be was ""Boca Baby"" and that is where she could be found on a beautiful sunny day whenever she could. She loved to show people she cared and would drop them little notes in the mail so they would know that she was thinking of them in the middle of the day for no reason other than because. She was loyal and loving and leaves a hole in the lives of those who know her and love her. There will be a celebration of life scheduled at the Boca Grande Lighthouse and all who knew her are welcome to attend. The details will be published at a later date via social media.
