Devin P. Rice

Our most beloved Devin left us unexpectedly on July 14, 2015 at age 54. Preceded in death by father, James Isaac Rice, sister, Mary, son Patrick and infant son James. Survived by wife, Katie Connolly, his most precious children, Brendan, Mary Kate, and Emmet, mother Jill, siblings Sean, Sheila Lawson (Pope), Maura (Joe Creber), Brian (JoAnn), Brenna McShane, and Eamon (Kristina Blomquist), mother-in-law, Carol Connolly, father-in-law, John S. Connolly (Phebe), many cherished nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in law and countless treasured friends. Devin was a Managing Director at RR Donnelley & Sons Company, an ardent Democrat, a man of unwavering faith, devoted member of the Town & Country Club, member of the Minneapolis Charter Commission, and an avid golfer. Most importantly, Devin was fiercely devoted to and proud of his family for whom he provided for so well. Devin was a light who shined so bright. We will miss him so. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Monday at the Church of the Assumption, 51 7th Street West, Saint Paul. Visitation Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Church of the Assumption and 1 hour before the Mass. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Annunciation School, Minneapolis, Annunciation Youth Ministries, or the WGA Evans Scholars Foundation.
