Dixon Goodwin Trich, 86, died September 25, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born February 14, 1935 to Wenert Orr and Thelma (Baker) Trich in Kilgore, Texas. Dixon was an All-Star quarterback for Kilgore High School in Texas where he graduated in 1953. He worked as a dance instructor for Arthur Murray studios to pay for schooling. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant for the United States Army. His pure heart always had him standing up for the little guy. During his time in the military, he was placed as a supply clerk because he was the only one who had typing experience. Dixon was also a history buff with a special interest in the civil war. Dixon served as a district superintendent for Hunt Oil Company in Billings, Montana where he also had the experience drilling in Yemen. On his last day before retiring, between 100-200 pickup trucks showed to send him off at the airport. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wenert and Thelma; his son, James "Kyle" Trich; and his brother, Wenert Orr Trich, Jr.Dixon is survived by his wife, Kathleen Wilson; his sons, David and Bryan Trich; his grandsons, Zack Trich, and Eric Trich; his granddaughters, Laurel Trich, and Kyla Wesley; and his great-grandchildren, Alice Trich, Lucy Trich, Jesse Fulmer, Oaklan Wesley, and Chasen Wesley; sister-in-law, Sue Wilson (Bruce Gallatin); brother-in-law, Steve (Evelyn) Wilson.
