Donald "Don" Michael Cassidy
April 24th, 1964 - March 5th, 2024
Don Cassidy passed peacefully away on March 5th, 2024, after a 7 month battle with cancer.
He was born in Denver, Colorado on 04/24/64, a date whose number pattern gave him particular satisfaction. His dad is Lewis Don Arons of Texas, and his mom is Mary Patricia Cassidy of Monument, CO. Both are still living. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University in 1987, and his Masters in Business Administration from Denver University in 2008. He worked as a computer chip designer.
He became a Christian in 1987, and came to know what that meant in a more meaningful way during this past year.
He met his wife, Suzanne, at Colorado State University, and they married on June 10th, 1989. They lived in Northern Colorado most of their lives, coming down to the Springs in 2015.
He is survived by his dad; his mom; his wife; and five children: Rebekah Mann (with husband Robert), Carolyn, Rose Aden (with husband Matthew), Timothy (with wife Isabella), and Noah. He also has six grandchildren, Edmund Aden, Freidric Aden, Margaret Aden, Gilbert Mann, Patricia Mann, Diana Cassidy, and another one on the way. He also has a brother, Matthew Arons (with wife Lisa).
Thank you to all for your involvement in his life. He will be buried in a private ceremony. A Memorial Service will be held on March 30th, at 1 p.m. at Black Forest Reformed Church, 5550 Shoup Rd., Colorado Springs, CO.
