Donald Fred Hardy
December 7th, 1932 - May 21st, 2019
Donald Fred Hardy passed away on May 21, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his family by his side. He was born on December 7, 1932 in Charlevoix, Michigan. Don met and married his beautiful wife, Janet, in Charlevoix and they were married on July 21, 1951. Janet passed away on June 5, 2018. He was drafted when he was 19 into the U.S. Army. Don and Janet had four children: Samuel, Donald, Bruce and Cindy. Before retiring Don worked for the United States Postal Service. He spent his retirement in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Sun City, Arizona; and Charlevoix, Michigan. Don enjoyed flipping houses over the years and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Samuel (Kym) Hardy, Bruce (Anne) Hardy, Don Hardy and Cindy (Paul) Mead; and several grand and great-grandchildren. Don will be forever in all our hearts and we will miss him dearly.
