On Saturday, October 2, 2021, Donald W. Kriston, loving husband, father of two, grandfather of four, great-grandfather of three passed away at the age of 82. Don was born on September 18, 1939, in Logan, West Virginia to William & Susie (Rebar) Kriston. He worked for Publix for 30 years. On August 2, 1958, he married the love of his life Patsy Janice Yon. They were married for 63 years and raised two children, Gary & Patty. Don had a passion for fishing & hunting and enjoyed spending time with his family especially on a boat in the water. Don was also a strong Christian with an amazing love for Jesus. He was a member of Eagle Lake Baptist Church. Don was preceded in death by his father, William, and mother, Susie, along with his brothers, Gary & Edward. He is survived by his wife Patsy, son Gary and his children Donnie (wife Melissa), Christy (husband Bill and their daughter Sophia), John, daughter Patter & her son Joe (wife Nikki & their sons Trey & Talan). Visitation will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 10 to 11 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens.
