Donald Curtis Peters, age 70, of Peyton, CO rest in peace on November 16, 2014. Don was born on February 20, 1944 in Wheat Ridge CO. to Dale and Margerie Peters. Don was married to Seline Peters for 21 years. Don graduated High School from Charleston, ILL. and also attended North East Junior College in Greeley, CO. Don honorably served in the Army as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, where he served two tours. Don loved his country and took great pride of the time he served in the military. Don retired from the Federal Aviation Administration Denver Center where he dedicated 32 continuous years. He is survived by his wife, Seline Peters and his 3 children Kae Roth and her husband Scott of Gig Harbor, WA, Katharine Steggs and her husband Chris of Alliance, NE., and Justin Hejlik of Longmont, CO., Eight Grand Children and 3 Great Grand Children. He is also survived by his sister: Pam Engstrom and her Husband Pat, 6 Nieces and nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; Dale and Margerie Peters, Aunts, Uncles and cousin. Don liked spending special time with family and friends, enjoyed fishing and had a passion for watching the Denver Broncos. Don will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Service will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 1:00p.m., Fort Logan Veterans Cemetery in Denver Colorado.
