December 20th, 1936 - August 17th, 2021
Donna Lois Baumeister, 94, of Venice, Florida formerly of Euclid, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Donna was born December 20, 1926, in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of the late Lionel D. and Ida J. (Kuivinen) Daye. Donna is survived by her husband R.K. ""Rudy"" Baumeister of 70 years, son Roy Baumeister and wife Dianne Tice of Utah; daughter Susan Tobison and husband Gary of Noblesville, Indiana; grandchildren Jacob and James Tobison; great grandchildren Hunter and Abigail Tobison. Donna was preceded in death by one granddaughter Athena Baumeister. Donna was a German school teacher for years until her retirement in 1983. She enjoyed swimming, surfing, sailing and snow skiing. She also enjoyed music, and played trumpet for many years in large and small bands. She was especially remembered by friends and family for writing rhymes for special occasions.
