Doris Eileen Karam, 89, of Venice, FL passed away September 12, 2014. Doris was born November 20, 1924 in Sherrodsville, OH to Alice (Belknap) and George Poulton. Doris is a graduate of the Mercy Hospital Nursing School in Canton, OH having received an R.N. degree. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James J. Karam M.D. and her sister, Norma Bosler. Survivors include her children: Keith G. Karam of Beach City, OH, Terri A. Barton of Venice, FL. Brian Karam of Nokomis, FL and Lori E. Karam of Nokomis, FL; 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. At the request of the family, no services will be held.
