Dormina "Mina" Hemingway, 43, entered Heaven's gates on October 14, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on August 20, 1975.Mina was a loving mother, soul mate, sister, and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest and shared her love with all. Over the years she shared her passion of sports. She loved watching football, particularly theDallasCowboys, University of Alabama Crimson Tide,and Mitchell High School Marauders. Mina made sure to give the highlights of each game to all her friends on Facebook.Besides her passion for sports, nothingin life gave her more happiness and pride then her son, Dimitri. When cancer came again,God answered her prayer to watch Dimitri graduate and see him off to college before bringing her home.It was her unwavering faith that carried her through. Dorminawas preceded in death by her father, Rubin Hemingway; and mother, Norma Rich. Dormina is survived by her son, Dimitri D. Hemingway; soulmate, James Oates; stepmother, Vicki Hemingway of North Carolina; sister, Amanda Hemingway; brother, Antoine Hemingway of South Carolina;seven nephews,four nieces, and anendless sea of extended family and friends. Her soulmate, James Oates, lovingly cared for her the last days of her life, along with her son Dimitri.
