Dorothy E. Collins (nee Frank), age 82, of Venice, Florida, passed away on August 20, 2016. She was born on March 6, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois and was the only daughter to Irene and Ray Frank. She has been a resident at Pelican Pointe Golf & Country Club in Venice for 17 years. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Collins; most loving mother of Matthew, Mary Ward, Jim and Patrick Collins. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jim Frank. A private service for Dorothy will be held at a later date. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Farley Funeral Home in Venice.
