Dorothy Edwards

Dorothy Edwards, 84, of Haines City, FL passed away August 10, 2021. She was born on November 16, 1936 in Haines City, FL to Fred (Jack) and Pauline Smith Coleman. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Haines City, worked in the citrus industry as a secretary for both Glico and B.C. Cook & Sons and she was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Haines City, FL. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Dorothy enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, traveling and going to the beach. She loved cooking for the family, especially, cooking holiday meals for them. Dorothy will be truly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred (Jack) and Pauline; and husband, Billy B. Edwards. Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Gary Edwards and wife, Kim of Haines City, FL, Lee Edwards and wife, Kim of Haines City, FL, Chris Edwards and wife, Kim of Haines City, FL and Terry Edwards and wife, Casey of Kissimmee, FL; sisters, Carolyn Coleman of Haines City, FL and Jackie (John) Hancock of Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Jessica Harris, Steven Edwards, Keily Hammack, Kyle Edwards, Brandon Edwards, Lauren Edwards, Kara Edwards, Kristin Edwards, Caleb Edwards, and Thomas Edwards; and 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, FL. The family will be receiving friends at 10:00 a.m.
