Douglas Leon Hutton

Douglas Leon Hutton, 62, of Colorado Springs, Colorado went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 after a battle with brain cancer. He was born on December 15, 1960 to Clarence and Nina (Niche) Hutton in San Fernando, California He went to Garey High School and graduated in 1979. He continued his education and earned his Bachelors of Pastoral Theology (May 1996), Masters of Theology (May 2015), Doctorate of Theology (June 2016), and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biblical Psychology (October 2020). He loved reading the Bible and gleaning wisdom from great men of God and of patriotism. He loved his family and took great pride and happiness in each one of them. His great faith in and wisdom of God will be dearly missed. Doug was a devoted husband to his wife more than thirty-five years. His marriage was centered around the Lord. He was a tender, caring, and loving man who encouraged his wife to be the Christian lady she could be. He is survived by his wife, Doris Hutton; son, Caleb (Miranda) Hutton, and three granddaughters, Brooke, Brynne, and Cara; his son, David Hutton (Evanne) and grandson, Noah and granddaughter, Nicole and his daughter, Sue Luoma. He is also survived by his three siblings, Ross (Abby) Hutton, Tom Hutton, and Kari (Frank) Tambe; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by both his mother and father, Clarence and Nina Hutton.
