Douglas James Taylor

April 22nd, 1955 - December 11th, 2023

DOUGLAS (DOUG) JAMES TAYLOR Doug Taylor, 68, died unexpectedly December 11, 2023. Doug was born Aprill 22, 1955 in Longmont, Colorado, the son of James (Jim) and Geraldine (Gerry) Taylor. Doug graduated from Longmont High School in 1973. He worked for Eastman Kodak Company for many years and later worked for the City of Fort Collins Water Department for over 21 years and retired in 2019. Doug lived in the Big Thompson Canyon and later moved to Fort Collins, CO where he enjoyed boating and fishing at the nearby lakes. Doug loved the mountains, animals, gardening and woodworking, he also loved cooking for large crowds! Doug is survived by a daughter, Erika O’Dell of Denver, Colorado; Two sisters, Diane Zimmerman and her husband John Zimmerman of Rudy, Arkansas; Debbie Fesenmeyer and her husband Ron of Berthoud, Colorado; three nephews, Chad Dirkes of Rudy Arkansas; Aaron Fesenmeyer of York, Nebraska; Alex Fesenmeyer of Ft. Collins, Colorado. A small family memorial is planned for later this spring.
