Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) Douglas Wayne Webb, 56, passed away peacefully after a long heroic battle with ALS, June 7, 2017, in his home in Bennett, CO surrounded by family. He was born October 26, 1960 in Scottsbluff, NE and graduated Morrill High School in 1979. On June 26, 1982 he married Sheri Culver and together, they started their lifelong adventure in the Air Force. Doug served our country as a decorated soldier for over 33 years. As an Aerospace Physician Assistant in the Armed Forces he earned his Army Jump Wings, 2 Bronze Stars and numerous awards and medals. He was a faithful Christian man known for his humor and heartwarming smile; he could make any situation, even combat, bearable. He was notorious for pouring his heart into everything he did, no task was ever too big. He left a lasting impression and inspired people to be their best. He is survived by his loving wife Sheri, daughter Amanda (Patrick Sullivan) of Colorado Springs, CO, and son Kevin (Lindsey) of Cheyenne, WY, three grandchildren Connor, Benjamin and Luke, and his parents Harold and Jean Webb of Morrill, NE.
