Douglas Marshall Weber, 92, passed away on November 5, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April 26, 1921 in Huntington, IN to Paul and Irene Weber and graduated from Indiana Univ. School of Dentistry in December of 1944. He was a veteran of the US Army serving as a Captain in the Dental Corps, 21st Regiment, 24th Division during WW II and the Korean War. He was a practicing Dentist in Michigan City, IN for over 30 years. Douglas was a deacon and member of Lake Hamilton Presbyterian Church, a member of the American Legion Post # 451 and V.F.W. # 2536 as well as a Silver Life Master of American Contract Bridge League. Douglas married Miss Agnes Turman on December 26, 1943 and as the love of his life they played bridge and golf together every opportunity they could get. He is predeceased by his parents; son, Dr. Anthony K. Weber and sister, Jean Weber Dro. Douglas is survived by his wife, Agnes; children, Rev. Sally Anderson, Dr. Douglas W. Weber; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be Friday, November 8, 2013 at 10 am at Lake Hamilton Presbyterian Church with the final resting place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lake Hamilton Presbyterian Church memorial fund for new stained glass windows.
