Eddie Dean Smith Jr.

Eddie Dean Smith, Jr., 51, passed away November 28, 2021 in Venice , Florida . He was born on September 10, 1970 in Columbus , Ohio to Eddie and Lenora (Thompson) Smith. Eddie attended Franklin Heights High School, graduating class of 1988. He began working for Venice Toyota as an automotive painter. Eddie married his wife Dawn McLean in 2021. They moved to Venice, FL from Columbus, OH in 2016. Eddie loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, racing cars, as well as socializing with his friends. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. Eddie is predeceased by his mother Lenora Smith and his grandparents Jane and Dean Smith. He is survived by his Love of 24 years Dawn Smith, daughter Krystal (Kurt) Mori, sons Evan Smith and Eddie Smith III, grandchildren Alexis Mori, Allyson Mori, and Chase Mori, and many family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday December 4, 2021, at Farley Funeral Home, 265 South Nokomis Avenue, Venice, FL 34285.
