Edward P. Evanko
July 23rd, 1932 - October 15th, 2014
Seaside- On October 15, 2014 at Saint Louise Regional Hospital, Gilroy, CA, after suffering with Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS) over the last three years, Edward (Eddie) Evanko peacefully passed away. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War and in peacetime, finally retiring in 1976. Edward is survived by his wife Jung ;his children Annette DiResta, Rita Evanko and Eddie Evanko; 6 grandchildren: Candace, Edward (Bubba,) Destin, Kalani, Trevor and Brooke. In lieu of flowers please donate to African charities or the ALS Foundation. Viewing is on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2 to 3pm with funeral service at 3pm, all at Mission Mortuary, 450 Camino El Estero, CA.
