She held our hands a little while and will hold our hearts forever.

Born on August 3, 1937 in Lancashire, England to John and Elizabeth Wall, Eileen Wall Theriault passed away on May 28, 2023. She was the youngest of three children and much of her childhood occurred during World War II.  She often spoke of the bombs exploding all around, seeing the war planes flying over while on the playground at school, hiding under their desks and the rationing of food.

She worked in a paper factory as a machine operator before meeting and marrying her husband of 66 years, an United States Air Force service member Richard Theriault, on August 2, 1958.  Following Richard's honorable discharge from service they left for the United States and settled in Palm Bay, Fl to raise their four daughters. While raising their four daughters she was all things a mother should be, a caregiver, a teacher, a life coach and motivational speaker, a CEO, a handy woman, a chauffer, a housekeeper, a personal shopper, a chef, a detective, a nurse, a playmate and a superhero,

she also became a Breast Cancer survivor.

She was a mother through and through, a constant worrier, if her children didn't answer her calls or call her back promptly she was calling a sibling to find out where they were or to send them over for a well check.

She always wanted to help, people and animals, making monthly donations to St Jude, the Humane Society, and a local pet food bank.  One of her last acts was to give a vehicle to a young lady that was coming to clean their house for them when the vehicle she had been using  broke down for the last time and she wasn't able to get to the houses she cleaned to support herself, her dad and her sister.

She enjoyed bingo, knitting, sewing, ceramics, decorating including painting murals, crosswords, solitaire and shopping on QVC.

Eileen became a United States citizen in 1975 but she was British to her core, a very private person, always strong and stoic.  She was not one to wear her emotions on her sleeve but there was never any doubt that she would do anything in her power for the ones she loved.

She will always be remembered by her family as our much loved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, deeply caring, charitable, empathetic, fiercely protective of her children, always giving of herself to help with anything they needed and an avid animal lover she couldn't pass an animal without stopping to say hello.

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth Wall, her brother Lawrence Wall and her sister Margaret Wall.  She is survived by her four daughters, Sharon Drack of Palm Bay, FL,  Susan Fritz of Rockledge, Fl, Lynda Chance of Melbourne, Fl and Toni Wise of Palm Bay, Fl.  Her sons-in-law,  Brian Drack, Dennis Fritz and John Werling,  Her grandchildren, Tyler Drack, Steve Fritz, Kara Fritz, Brittany Deputy, Autumn Fairchild and Michael Wise and her great-grandchildren, Charlie Sellars, Carson Andrews, and Kinsleigh and Emma Deputy.

A service to celebrate the life shared by Eileen and Richard together will be held on August 2, 2024 at 12:00pm at the Ammen Funeral Home located at 1001 Hickory St, Melbourne, Fl 32901.  Doors will open at 11.
