George W. Ammen, Jr. founded South Brevard Funeral Home in 1971 and was later joined by his son. In 2011 we changed our name to show our family commitment. Because of our long history in Brevard County, we feel that we are especially qualified to serve this community.

- Price is for direct cremation without visitation, formal services, or ceremony.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal and local transportation of your loved one to the crematory (within our service area).
- Care of your loved one until cremation is complete.
- Cremation process and return of ashes. Urn and alternative container are not included.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations, plus one certified copy of the death certificate.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, scattering assistance, and more - at additional charge.
- Prices do not include merchandise, cash advances, or filing fees. Please see complete price list for additional details and exclusions.
Immediate Burial Starting At
$1,630
- Price is for burial with no visitation or formal services and ceremonies. Does not include casket, outer burial container, or cemetery costs.
- Includes all of the essential services of the funeral director and staff.
- Removal of your loved one as well as local transportation to the cemetery for burial (within our service area).
- Care of your loved one until burial is complete. Family not present with timing at the discretion of the funeral home.
- Consultation with responsible party for final arrangements.
- All the necessary permits and authorizations.
- Free self-service online obituary.
- Many other optional services available - including celebration of life event planning, traditional funeral service, on-site catering, police escort to the gravesite, and more - at additional charge.

My Son passed away suddenly and he lived in Florida and, unfortunately, I live in North Carolina. All arrangements had to be made over the phone and everyone I spoke with was very caring and professional. Mark, the Director who handled my Son’s arrangements, couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. I had my Son cremated and his ashes were sent to me in a very nice black box. The box was totally protected by the way the shipping container was built.
I had my Mother and Father cremated by Ammens and they have always been caring, professional and respectful to work with.
