Eleanor Louise Madigan
April 18th, 1926 - September 3rd, 2022
Eleanor Louise Madigan, 96 of Denver Colorado, passed away September 3, 2022, with her family by her side. She was born to the late William James Moore, and Gladys E. Moore on April 18, 1926, in Las Animas Colorado. Eleanor graduated from Las Animas High School. She married the late Leo Matthew Madigan on June 28, 1952, and they lived together in Lakewood Colorado. Eleanor is survived by three children: Kathleen Gangl, Tim Madigan and Sharon Madigan, daughter in-laws Jeannie and Glenda. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Jason Moss, (girlfriend Karina deOliveira) Chris (Bree) Madigan, Jennifer Dennison and three great-grandchildren; Chloe Slavero, Landon Madigan and Brinkley Madigan. Eleanor was predeceased by her son Terry Madigan, her loving husband Leo and son in-law Robert Saenz. Eleanor enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Editorial Assistant for the US Geological Survey at the Denver Federal Center from 1942 through 1983 and then the City of Lakewood for 5 years. She was a caring, fun-loving person, a mother to all that she met, was immensely proud of her family and leaves nothing but beautiful memories.
