Obituary – Eleanor Tafoya March 16, 1944 – January 31, 2024 Eleanor Tafoya, 79, of Denver, Colorado passed away January 31, 2024. Eleanor was born March 16, 1944 to Jesse and Bernice Macias. Eleanor was a loving mother to Frank “Porky” Sanchez and John Sanchez, a devoted wife to Reuben Tafoya, and a dedicated grandmother to Trisha, Kayla, Shantel, Evan and Ernest. Eleanor is proceeded in death by parents Jesse and Bernice Macias, brothers Richard, John, and Danny Macias, and sisters Dora and Jessica Lilly Macias, husband Reuben Tafoya, sons Frank and John Sanchez, and granddaughter Shantel Sanchez. She is survived by brothers Jesse (Sylvia), Robert, Frank, and sisters Patricia Macia and Irene Garcia (John), grandchildren Trisha Roybal (Vinny), Kayla Guerra (Jody), Evan and Ernest Sanchez, and great grandchildren Jayanna, Layla, Alanni, Reuben, Mila and Jameson. Services to be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 4200 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 8011 on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 10:00 am.
