Eleanor "Ellie" Lillian Wozniak

Eleanor L. Wozniak, 83, of Fountain, Colorado, passed Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Springs Village Care Center with family by her side. "Ellie" was born January 28,1936 in Bear Lake, Pennsylvania to loving parents Joseph Klare and Iva Platt. She lived life to the fullest, living in Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. Ellie met and married Stephen A. Wozniak in 1977. Together they traveled the country in Stephen's semi-truck. Ellie loved to help cook for large groups, her favorites were the Ramp dinners in West Virginia and potato soup for the Fountain Fire Department. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and siblings, Gene, Klare and Doris Platt.Ellie is survived by her caretakers, Brian and LouAnn Platt; and several nieces and nephews.Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Tuesday, January 28, 2020, Lakeside Church of Christ, 603 South Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.A Graveside Service will take place in Spring of 2020 in Wrightsville, Warren County, Pennsylvania.
