Lake Wales, FL: Elizabeth Anderson, 61, entered into rest on Sunday, October 20, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was born on March 12, 1958 in Lawrenceburg, TN to Charles Franklin and Olee Thompson-White. Elizabeth moved to Lake Wales in 1993 from Bragg, NC, she was a homemaker who took pride in taking care of her family before working as a school crossing guard for the Polk County Sherriff Office for 5 years, and was a member of the Winter Haven Worship Center.   Elizabeth was passionate about her family, making it a priority to spend quality time regularly with her husband, children, siblings, and grandson. She was a proud military wife and she traveled the world with her loving husband. Elizabeth loved fishing, shopping, word search puzzles, and socializing with neighbors. She never met a stranger, always had a friendly smile to offer, and she was always the life of the party. Elizabeth was loving, outgoing, loyal, forgiving and silly. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Wanda, Marvin, and Timmy White. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gary; sons, Nicholas R. and Brian D. Anderson; brothers, David, Sam, and Jessie White; sisters, Mary Brewer, Rosie Watson, Tammy Cooper, Valarie Hoerler, and Dicie Fay Hunt; grandson, Rylan Anderson; mother-in-law, Augusta D. Anderson; and several nieces and nephews. Her family will remember her as an outgoing, caring, and loving woman. She will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Pedaler’s Pond at the Club House, located at 1960 Pedaler’s Pond Blvd in Lake Wales, FL. The family will be receiving friends at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Elizabeth’s name can be sent to the American Lung Association.
