Elsie Vigil went "Home" to be with her Lord and Saviour on June 15, 2021. Elsie was born in Bradford, Colorado on January 24th 1932. She was the oldest of four children born to Abel and Amada Gonzales. Elsie was married to Efren Vigil in 1950. They enjoyed 55 years of marriage. Her children are Charlene V. Madrid (Rojerio) Pueblo West, Colo., Darlene Workman (Ronaldo) Denver, Colo., Clifford (Suanne) Denver, Colo. Gale, Denver, Colo. Elsie is survived by all her children, Sister Elena (Larry), 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great Great grandchildren. She will be cherished and missed by many family members, sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews, church family, and friends and neighbors. Elsie gave everyone the benefit of the doubt, saw the best in everyone, she was generous up to the very last days of her life. Always thinking of others first. Some of the things that Elsie loved and enjoyed were children, gardening, plants and flowers,nature, books, the ocean, cooking, history especially Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico, travel, mission trips with her church, a good joke, birds and their songs. Elsie loved her husband with all her heart and can now enjoy a Grand Reunion. Elsie loved and lived her Christian faith. She was happy to share her faith.
