DUNDEE - Elvin V. Gandy, 75, of Dundee died Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Auburndale. He was born September 18, 1939 in Adel, GA to Lewis and Elsie (Thornton) Gandy. He worked many years as a Flotation Operator for IMC Phosphate in Mulberry and was a member of the Green Leaf River of Life Worship Center in Haines City. Mr. Gandy was predeceased by his parents; brothers Albert Gandy and Bert Gandy; and sisters Flossie Fenley, Susie Gandy, Judy Griner and Lesie Peral. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Carolyn F. Gandy; daughters Brenda (John ) Carter of Dundee and Anita Brown of Fort Pierce; brother Clarence Gandy of Haines City; sister Tessie Mae McNell of GA; grandchildren Michael Graff, Waylon Carter and Sydney Carter; and great grandson Colton Carter. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11AM at the Green Leaf River of Life Worship Center in Haines City. Oak Ridge Funeral Care Haines City.
