Emily was born June 18, 1940 in Highlands, NC to the late Tina Savilla (Henry) and James Thomas Gibson. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Charlie Gibson, Harold Gibson, Peggy Erskine, Alice Crane, Johnny Gibson and James Gibson. Survivors include her children: Paul (Donna) Lyons, Ronnie Lyons (Jeff Seitz), Teresa (James) Marcolini and Angela (Michael) Quinn; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; siblings: Myrtis (Corbin) Talley, Mary (James) Davis, Clyde (Linda) Gibson, Agnes (Merlin) Crowe. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 PM, October 2 at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2970 University Parkway, Suite 104, Sarasota, FL 34243.
