Eric Christopher Dunlap

Eric Christopher Dunlap, 46, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020. Born on May 27, 1974 in Lancaster, SC, he was the son of Rick Dunlap and the late Kathy Carnes Adams. Step mom is Denise Dunlap. Eric was the owner of Dunlap Construction. He loved working with his hands, Clemson football, playing golf, dirt bike racing, but more than anything else, he loved his three boys and his grandson. Left to cherish his memory are his father, Rick Dunlap; step mom, Denise Dunlap; sons, Austin Dunlap (Kaylee Mack), Ricky Dunlap, and Ryan Dunlap; grandson, Espn; the mother of his children, Tina Dunlap; sister, Kelly Catledge; step sister, Brittany Blythe; and step brother, Brock Ludy. In addition to his mom, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carolyn Brazell and Mert Carnes; and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Patricia Dunlap. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 2:30pm in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Rd. Columbia, SC 29209. Interment will immediately follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
