Eugene John D’Aloia, age 79, of North Port, FL died on September 7, 2009. He was born in Orange, NJ on June 24, 1930, and came to the North Port area in 2004. Mr. D’Aloia was an HVAC mechanic for the Passaic Valley Sewerage Co. until he retired in 1992. He was a member of the San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. Mr. D’Aloia served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Orange Elks Club and was a mixologist for various establishments in NJ. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his former wife and lifelong best friend, Ruth D’Aloia of North Port; son Steven D’Aloia of North Port; daughters Jennifer Roberts of North Port and Lori Iuso of New Jersey; sister Anita Tizio of New Jersey; and grandchildren Anthony, Giuliana, Nickolas, and Alexander. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at San Pedro Catholic Church on Friday, September 11th at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery.
