Eugene R. Stewart, of North Port, Florida passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at his home surrounded by family. Eugene was born June 15, 1922 in Paragould, Arkansas the son of the late Fredrick T. and Mary K. (Alvy) Stewart. Eugene worked for Industrial Engineer and Equipment Company in St. Louis, Missouri until his retirement in 1985. Survivors include wife, Dorothy Emily Hart Stewart of North Port, children, Ronald Stewart (Diane) Christy, Robert A. Stewart (Denise) Ryan, (Veronica), Christopher, Andrea (Kyle), great grandchildren, Evy Stewart. James G. Stewart (Diane) Lindsey, Erika Hermeyer, Andrea Hermeyer, David (Pat) Kyle, and Matthew. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers, Mabel, Loretta, Charles, Bernita, and Jackie Berger.
