Eva Jean Ellis, 99, died on October 28, 2016 at MacKenzie Place Memory Care in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Born on April 10, 1917 in Derby, England, she was the daughter of Edward Tindal and Florence (Wood) Battersby.Jean married Roy Eastwood Ellis, and later emigrated to North America after WWII, where they raised three children.She worked as both a homemaker and a dental receptionist, where she was a bookkeeper and developed her secretarial skills. Eva is preceded in death by her husband, Roy.She is survived by two sons, Anthony J. (Barbara) Ellis and Andrew R. (Rebecca) Ellis; one daughter, Judith C. (Kenneth) Ciboch; seven grandchildren, John Ellis, Lisa Ellis, Adam Ciboch, Brent Ciboch, David Armstrong, Bryan Armstrong, and Justin Ellis; and eight great-grandchildren.Memorial donations may be made in Eva's memory to New Century Hospice of Colorado Springs.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
