Evelyn Mary Saturno

THE VILLAGES – Evelyn Mary Saturno, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Born in Waterbury, CT she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Margaret (O’Donnell) Massicotte. Evelyn was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She, along with her late husband Ralph James Saturno, resided in Waterbury and Bethel, CT for most of their lives, and also spent time in Gaithersburg, MD and Raleigh, NC. They moved to The Villages in 2002. Evelyn was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, and participated in parish and local activities. She was blessed with many warm and loving friends wherever she lived, and was always happiest when cooking for a crowd, playing games with friends, reminiscing over stories and sharing time with loved ones. Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Ralph James Saturno in 2012. She leaves her children; Mary Vicente of Raleigh, NC; Ralph Saturno Jr. of Chester Spring, PA; Mark Saturno of Dayton, OH; and 6 grandchildren (Luis Jr and Paul Vicente; Joel Davis; Christopher and Shea Saturno; Michael Saturno). A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 in St. Timothy Catholic Church 1351 Paige Place, Lady Lake, at 8:30 AM. The Rite of Committal will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
